I can't believe it! So, I decided to enter in the Strawberry Cute contest. I didn't think I had much of a shot. I had taken the pics days before the contest was over and thought it would all be for fun. While my Sweet picture didn't make it, my classic picture is in a tie. IT'S IN THE TOP 3!!! Although I don't want to have high hopes, I'm secretly hoping I get second place. I've never entered in a contest before, so I'm very excited! Below is the pic thats in the top 3 tie:

I can't wait to see who wins. Even if its not me, it was fun. :D

Valentines Day

Due to the 2 feet of snow and level 2 warning, I was unable to see my boyfriend on both the 14th and 15th. Luckily, the roads were good enough that he was able to come to my house today. Since he lost his job not too long ago, I thought it would be cute to make him a V-day gift bag. It contained a box of Merci chocolates, candy hearts with a balloon attached to the top, and a card.

While I was getting creative, I decided to dress up in lolita. It's a bit more classic than I normally wear, but I was freezing and the long JSK kept me warm.

Here is another pic my boyfriend took of me (it's my favorite).

And last, but not least, my makeup picture. You cant really tell what I all have on in the picture, though. The eye shadow and lip gloss were much more shimmery than the picture lets on.

Originally we had planned to go to a sushi bar for lunch and then have a special dinner I had made. But with all the snow, we decided to skip the sushi bar and just snuggle at my house.It wasn't bad though. I still got to spend time with my love, and that's all that matters. <3

So I was going to get it on Saturday, but the mailman left us a letter saying I had to pick it up at the post office because we werent home.Thing was, my dad got the mail right from the mailman >_<. Here is what I got.

I got a mint green dress, ring and bracelet, bear keychain, a tote, and a white skirt.

I love this dress. I've always secretly wanted a mint green dress. now I just need a cardigan and socks!

This is the ring, bracelet, and bear key chain. Even though the bear is really big, I think its cute. I was kinda hoping that I would get the necklace like other people did, but i think the ring and bracelet are still cute.

Sociology Paper

So for college sociology, we had to do a group paper. We agreed that each person would get one question and send their answer to one person who would turn them all in. My answer ended up being 1/2 a page and I so I decided to send it to him in the "discussion room" our teacher made for each group. It is like a mini chat room. Anyway, after that I go to see what his answer was out of curiosity. I'm shocked when I see it. It’s not even a paragraph and by just reading the question it should be at least 2-3 paragraphs. So I sent him a reply that said this:

“You might want to go into more detail by describing what Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, Shurdas, and Chandalas are. You could also explain what the caste system is and what Class is. I see that wrote about Caste and Slavery, but forgot Class. You could explain why we can’t ignore the stratifications. You could also tell a few of both the disadvantages and advantages of the systems. You also might want to explain why Slavery is the most dangerous and why class is the least dangerous. I hope this helps!”

I wasn’t trying to be rude or mean. But it looked like he didn’t even take 5 minutes to write it. He sent me a reply later stating that he was thankful and he would edit it. So after he turned in our paper I decided to look at it. After we send our teacher our papers, she allows us to see them online. Turns out, he edited his answer by copying and pasting answers from the last paper we did in class! Not only that but he edited my paper. Not a little editing either. He cut it down from half a page to a small paragraph and only used 2 sentences from my paper. He didn’t even use all the examples that I had in my paper. He used one and wrote a small ass paragraph. The grammar wasn’t even that good!

I AM SO PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!! >_<

First Lolita meetup

Woohoo! Not only did I go to my first lolita meet up Sunday, but I'm writing my first entry *eeep*. Originally we were supposed to go to the Loveland Castle’s haunted tour. But at the last minutes, Kat noticed that tours are only on Fridays and Saturdays! So we moved the meet up to Kyoto Japanese Restaurant. I had Shrimp Tempura roll and it was delicious. The food there was made fresh and tasted great. It also looked good too. We stayed there for about an hour or so until the waitress wouldn’t stop giving us the ‘evil eye’. After we left, we all went to Barns&Nobles and had some coffee. The coffee was alright. I had tons of fun talking with the other girls and meeting other lolitas. Surprisingly I had an easy time talking with them too. (I’m really shy when I meet people for the first time.) Sadly, I forgot to take my camera, so I couldn’t take any pictures. Once the other girls post the pictures they took, I’ll see if they’ll let me take some.
